Be an International Citizen

It is essential to know your rights, not only from a national perspective, but also an international point of view. A democracy adopts, it is important to know and respect the laws, it protects the rights of all minority groups. The State police are trying to keep people in ignorance of their rights in order to suppress the free exercise of these rights. The purpose of the UN Decade on Education for Human Rights has been announced loudly by the United Nations during their General Assembly in December 1994. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights urged that people, whatever their level of education and upbringing are informed of their rights and responsibilities according to international treaties on human rights.
