The weapon race

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the attacks committed by terrorist networks could be precursors of a new type of war. They remind us that violence and persecution are still very much present among us.

In 1948, faced with the development of weapons capable of destroying all life on earth and in the hope of preventing further massacres, the world's nations met to formulate and adopt a universal code that would serve as a reference to persons, groups and especially the nations. They called Universal Declaration of Human Rights UN. The article expresses the spirit in which the Universal Declaration was written: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. "
